Common questions
Frequently asked questions
What is UAPL training and who is it for?
UAPL training is for learners preparing for the UA Pilot Licence in Singapore. It builds the theory knowledge, practical flying skills, safety awareness and assessment readiness needed for regulated drone operations. It suits anyone who wants to fly for commercial, professional or higher-weight drone use.
What is UABT and should I take it first?
UABT stands for UA Basic Training. It's an online course covering important safety and regulatory knowledge for drone users. It's a good start if you're new to drones or want a simple first step before UAPL training. Registration and course access are through Hypeschool.
I've completed my theory test. What next?
Your next step is usually the practical assessment that matches your drone type and weight category. Check the assessment options above. If you're unsure whether to choose 7kg, 25kg or rotorcraft, ask us and we'll guide you.
Are the UAPL courses funded?
The UAPL training and assessment options on this page are not funded unless stated otherwise. Ask us for the current fee, intake dates and payment details.
I'm not sure which course to choose. Can you advise me?
Yes. Tell us your current stage, for example new to drones, finished theory, need an assessment, or want to renew or remove a weight limitation, and we'll suggest your next step.
